Job description: Fraud AnalystJob Overview:Location: BangaloreThe Fraud Operations Team at Toast works to prevent fraud for Toast, our customers, and our guests. The team is responsible for fraud prevention across our Fintech suite, from access controls to transaction monitoring.The Fraud Analyst is responsible for reviewing customer accounts with identified suspicious or unusual activity, and determining if escalation or reporting is necessary. They will be the front line in defending against fraud and will be expected to provide high-quality operational feedback to the Fraud and Risk Team and other stakeholders in order to improve Toast’s overall fraud program.What You Will Do:Monitor fraud queues to eliminate the fraud risk from the customer accounts and ensure risky transactions are stoppedConduct thorough investigations using internal tools to detect fraudulent activityReview chargeback data to identify meaningful patternsDeliver a best-in-class, truly delightful experience to Toast restaurants and prospects through successful communication (both written and verbal)Provide insights on fraud trends for different Toast fintech productsDiscuss and work on the escalations to provide best solutions for customersSuggest and implement improvements to existing fraud SOPs and methodologiesProvide insights to Data Analyst, Product and Engineering Teams to improve the existing fraud tools and proceduresDo you have the right ingredients?1- 2 years of experience in an analyst-level role in Fraud and Risk environment, Freshers can also applyCuriosity and strong investigative skills, ability to form a narrative around large sets of data and ability to identify fraud patterns/trendsAbility to work effectively in a dynamic, changing environment and adapt while focusing on key goals and objectives with minimal oversightExcellent problem solving and interpersonal skillsCustomer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skillsMust be highly motivated and able to work within tight deadlinesAbility to work in flexible work environments and shifts/timing (nights and weekends)We are ToastersDiversity, Equity, and Inclusion is Baked into our Recipe for Success.At Toast our employees are our secret ingredient.
