Job description: About the internshipSelected intern’s day-to-day responsibilities include:1. Create original and trendsetting designs for seasonal collections for House of Deepthi and Izu Clothing.
2. Develop detailed sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes to bring design concepts to life.
3. Collaborate with the design team to ensure that designs align with brand identity and market trends.
4. Select fabrics, colours, and materials that reflect the brand’s vision and quality standards.
5. Conduct research on current fashion trends, market demands, and consumer preferences to inform design decisions.
6. Analyze competitor products and industry developments to stay ahead in the market.
7. Gather inspiration and create mood boards to guide and refine design concepts.
8. Work closely with the merchandising and production teams to ensure design feasibility and timely execution.
9. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and merchandising, to ensure cohesive brand messaging and product alignment.
10. Communicate design concepts and progress effectively to stakeholders, incorporating feedback and making necessary revisions.
11. Attend fittings and provide constructive feedback to ensure the final product meets the desired fit and quality standards.
12. Create and develop unique prints and embroidery that reflect the brand’s identity and appeal to our clientele.
13. Continuously explore new design techniques, materials, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to the brand.
14.
