The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in safeguarding our organization’s digital assets by integrating security practices into the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with development teams to ensure that applications are secure, resilient, and compliant with industry standards. Reports to: VP Platform EngineeringWhat will you do in RamSoft?Security Integration: Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC).Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in applications.Security Tools Development: Design, develop, and implement security tools and utilities to automate and enhance security measures.Threat Modeling: Perform threat modeling to identify potential security threats and implement appropriate countermeasures.Incident Response: Assist in the investigation and response to security incidents, providing expertise on security issues related to applications.Security Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for security policies, procedures, and guidelines.Compliance: Ensure that software applications comply with relevant security standards, regulations, and frameworks (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS).Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, tools, and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance security posture.What will you bring to RamSoft?Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in information security, with a focus on secure software development.Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C#,etc.).
- Experience with security tools such as static and dynamic analysis tools, vulnerability scanners, and penetration testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and principles (e.g., OWASP Top Ten).
- Familiarity with security protocols and technologies (e.g., SSL/TLS,encryption, authentication).
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is a plus.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to security.
You will really stand out if you have following of these:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
