You will be the primary point of contact for our founders, providing them with guidance, support, and access to valuable resources throughout their growth journey.What’s For The Candidate:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:● Sourcing and Deal Flow: * Actively identify and source high-potential startups in Tier-II and III cities across India, leveraging your network and industry knowledge
- Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, analyzing market opportunity, team capabilities, financial projections, and social impact (if applicable)
- Develop compelling investment theses and present them to the investment committee.
● Startup Engagement & Portfolio Management: * Build strong relationships with founders and serve as a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance, mentorship, and support
- Proactively manage existing portfolio companies, monitoring their progress and providing ongoing support for growth and achievement of key milestones
- Facilitate connections between portfolio companies and potential partners, investors, and industry experts within BizDateUp’s network.
● Market Research and Analysis: * Stay informed about emerging trends and developments in the Indian startup ecosystem, particularly in Tier-II and III cities
- Conduct market research and identify key industry verticals with high growth potential for future investments
- Prepare insightful reports and presentations to keep the investment team updated on industry trends and opportunities
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in startup ecosystem, venture capital, or a related field
- Proven track record of identifying and evaluating high-growth startups
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for evaluating market potential and business models
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Passion for entrepreneurship and a strong network within the Indian startup ecosystem, particularly in Tier-II and III cities
- Deep understanding of the Indian startup landscape and the challenges and opportunities faced by startups in Tier-II and III cities
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English and Hindi (highly desirable).
